Pink Martini was established in 1994 in the United States with 4 members led by Thomas Lauderdale (pianist and composer), inspired by music from all over the world in hopes of conquering conservative music lovers.
To date, Pink Martini has up to 14 members, including well-known musicians. Pink Martini’s music has no amplitude, from classical, latin, pop to jazz.

Pink Martini’s music influenced much from the “great” Cole Porter, Duke Ellington to the French music icon – Edith Piaf; Typical latin voices are: Xavier Cugat, Beny More, Tito Puente, and many materials of world music like: French chanson, tango Argentina, samba Brazil, bossa nova, rembetiko Greek, Middle Eastern music.
Pink Martini has sold more than 3 million albums with positive feedback from music lovers.
Pink Martini Asia Tour 2015
Poussières de Vie proudly welcomes the Pink Martini, the internationally renowed musical ensemble in their debut appearance for Vietnam’s audiences.
As scheduled, the Pink Martini Orchestra went to Vietnam on April 1. On April 2, they participated in gala dinner, auctioning personal items to raise funds. Then the concert takes place on April 3 at Ho Chi Minh City Ben Thanh Theater.
This program is in Pink Martini’s Asia tour. They just finished their show in Hong Kong and Singapore. Upon leaving Ho Chi Minh City, Pink Martini will continue her tour in Shanghai – China, Seoul – Korea and then Honolulu.
Pink Martini followed the performance of Christophe and Patricia Kaas to perform in Vietnam to raise funds for charity activities of Poussìeres de Vie NGO in Vietnam. All the proceeds from the above events are reserved to support street children.
