In 2010, PdV financed the construction of an ecolodge in Kon Ko Tu village. The actual running of the place is taken care of by a local tourism agency named Highlands Ecotours, in partnership with a Bahnar family. The ecolodge is a traditional Bahnar house, built right next to the house of the Bahnar family. Tourists can enjoy a trek in the moutains before resting in the homestay and sharing the life of an local Bahnar family. The project's objectives are to offer extra income to the family and some additional resources to the village. Indeed, a share of the revenues from the homestay is allocated to the village's fund.

A dozen PdV volunteers have since 2010 gone to Kon Ko Tu to help develop ecotourism in the village. Several achievements have come out of these projects, like a stairway leading to the river or a vegetable garden providing food supply to the hosting family.
